Day 1 – In Flight

 

Day 2 – Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi this morning and transfer to the Norfolk Hotel. Spend the remainder of the morning relaxing and resting up from the long flight. Meet for lunch before embarking on a tour of the city. Return to the Norfolk for a welcome dinner.

 

Overnight at the Norfolk Hotel.

 

Day 3 – Nairobi / Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast this morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Samburu National Reserve. On arrival, experience your first game drive en route to the lodge. Enjoy a refreshing lunch, and proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, beisa oryx, and a host of the “Big Five”, including elephant and lion. Have dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 4 – Samburu Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game Viewing. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

 

Day 5 – Samburu Game Reserve / Aberdares National Park
Enjoy breakfast before departing for Aberdares National Park. Along the way, stop for lunch at a hotel. The ride will also allow for ample game viewing opportunities en route. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon/evening game drive within the park.  Have dinner and overnight at Treetops.

 

Day 6 – Aberdares /  Nyahururu Falls / Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast at the Treetops, transfer back to the Outspan Hotel and drive via Nyahururu Falls to Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon game viewing in the park.

 

Overnight at the Sarova Mara Camp.

 

Day 7 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives from the comfortable base of the lodge, explore the park’s amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Have dinner and overnight at the Sarova Mara Camp.

 

Day 8 – Masai Mara / Nairobi / Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, arriving around noon. After lunch at the Nairobi Safari Club, drive via Namanga to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for an evening game drive. Have dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Lodge.

 

Day 9 – Amboseli National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park. Meals and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Lodge.

 

Day 10 – Amboseli National Park / Tsavo West National Park
Morning drive via the Shaitani lava flow to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing.

 

Overnight at the Kilaguni Lodge.

 

Day 11 – Tsavo West National Park / Mombasa / Nairobi
After breakfast, drive south to Mombasa, arriving around 12:30 p.m. at the Mombasa Hotel. Check in to dayrooms and await an evening departure to Nairobi. Arrive in time for an early farewell dinner. Transfer to the airport for your flight home or onward.
