About The President: Albert Anson

 Urbane, sophisticated and completely at home on any continent, Albert Anson makes the ultimate travel guru. It's no wonder then that since he began his travel career in the 1980s,

he's been heavily recruited by the top firms in the trade.

He began at Jet Vacations, a subsidiary of Air France, where his duties included working with French clients. Next came the challenge of running Wings of the World, an air charter company based in New York City. During a successful tenure there, Anson was recruited by

Park East Safaris, one of the leading tour operators to Africa. At Park East,

he was in charge of travel agent sales and his responsibilities included

negotiating contracts with numerous tour operators and airlines in Africa, as well as developing strong relationships and contacts throughout the continent.

 

After eight fulfilling years with Park East, the company merged with a group of agencies,

and Anson was tasked with introducing the travel agent market to both

Park East and a sister company, International Expeditions, Inc. Putting in

another five years of stellar performance in this capacity, Anson was finally ready to pursue his long-nurtured vision of starting a premier, luxury travel firm of his own.

All Africa Expeditions is the realization of that vision and, today, continues to cater to the distinguished tastes of its clientele through providing upscale experiences, while offering rare opportunities to witness the heart of each destination.

 

"I am passionate about promoting tourism throughout Africa, especially my homeland, Ghana," shares Anson who was born and raised in Accra. "The forts, castles, wildlife, and waterfalls that Ghana has to offer are still unexplored by most American travelers. But I believe that these can become a must see for adventure travelers to Africa." Already a common destination for European and Australian travelers, Ghana offers amazing cultural education and wildlife viewing opportunities that would appeal to any discriminating globetrotter.

 

With that in mind, Anson is well on his way to revolutionizing travel within Ghana. Once the face of tourism in West Africa has developed, Anson plans to continue promoting the ideal of sustainable travel in as many locales as possible. To that end, All Africa Expeditions is developing a luxury resort on an island on Lake Volta, the biggest manmade lake in the world. The resort will offer luxury tented accommodations, game drives, gourmet continental cuisine, hands-on cultural experiences—everything a person desires from the ultimate Africa journey.

 

For the man who built his career on making sure others travel well, it seems

his most interesting journey is yet to start.
